LOKI | SLIME

CURRENT INFORMATION | IN PROGRESS ● Body Replaced with 'Slime' — Loki is, officially, 100% slime (not including the nucleus). The consistency is such that he can float through water, and even bounce, at the cost of starting to leave residue on objects if he lingers in place too long. Currently, his slime is a sky blue, and his default form (with arms outstretched) includes his wing-membrane, 'boneless' arms, a loosely defined torso, and a relatively detailed head. It allows the look of his cornrows, as well as eyes, mouth, and nose, to take form (though nothing ever creates a hole going inward). ● Nucleus - Resembling an eye of sorts, he often hovers it behind one of his eyes as a 'false' one. However, it often moves according to his emotions, bouncing around when excited, for example. It is approximately the size of a golf-ball. ● Hunger for Flesh & Energy - Loki is able to obtain his fill in two ways; primarily it will be by leeching the fluids and energy from a person after 'inhabiting' them. While he has proven himself able to take in his nutrients from human flesh, slowly dissolving them into his slime...he prefers the method of 'overtaking' another in order to sap their energy, due to the mess the flesh method creates for himself ● Skin Membrane — After a purchase from Tikbalang, Loki came into possession of a stretch of skin between his limbs for use in flight. It has seemingly disappeared for now, but will return once his body becomes more 'realized' in form. ● Mountain Rune — now an under-developed slime, Loki's mountain rune is tricky to see; but the pattern is still present in his realized form, once his slime is no longer tainted by debris. Essentially, the lengthwise pattern acts as though the middle is where his head would come through a poncho. ● Astral Magic — As of August 19th, Loki is a practitioner of Astral Magic, the art of using one's energy to guide and protect others. Astral Magic

The Art of Astral Magic is one focused in energy. In order to activate any spell, one must thus have enough energy to successfully dash a hundred meters-this of course being the bare minimum. It is preferred, to say the least, that one be at full health if not even in a surplus of energy, while casting for this reason. With each spell, there is a risk of overuse however-going too far with energy output can result in fatigue at best, and death at worst.

Spells List Astral Projection & Dream Walking The ability to expel all energy from the body in order to travel as a spirit. While in this state, the caster becomes entirely unable to interact with with the living world, their body left comatose, and their spirit rendered mute, intangible, and inaudible. However, if the caster focuses their attentions on a single being, they can not only make themselves visible to them, but take on a different form in order to lead them as a visual guide. Examples include animals, glowing lights, or even ghastly forms of the original self. While in this state, the caster is able to enter the sleeping minds of others. In this way, they can view their dreams, and interact with them. However, the caster does not control the dreams-only the form that they themselves appear in. As such, it is child's play for the dreamer to not only choose to force the caster from their mind, but even destroy them...killing the caster as a result. A constant between both aspects of the spell is this-while wandering outside the body, it is as tiring as if they were walking in reality. Because of this, travelling beneath water is a strain, and travelling through more than average sized walls is exhausting. If the body is attacked while in this state, the caster will not realize completely what is happening either; they will simply feel a jolt, or a numbness, their form losing focus as their body loses life. Until they reunite with the body, the body will not awaken-nor will they be able to replenish energy, so it is key not to stray too far for too long in this state. Spirit Travel The ability to condense the entire physical form into sheer energy, and move at light speed as a result. Because of the strain of this technique, movement over distance exhausts energy at a 1:5 foot ratio, as if sprinting. It is thus a technique that cannot be used over long distances, or indeed numerous times in succession through a fight, making it best for quick dodges from otherwise fatal experiences.

Buffer To Buffer is to Shield, and with this technique any amount of energy forged into a shield is able to hold for as long as two hours...provided the caster holds focus for this long. All energy used for a shield cannot be recovered; only scattered after use, though energy absorbed by the shield can be used to strengthen the defense further without taking away more energy from the caster. A shield can only absorb as much energy as already exists within it however; as soon as it withstands a blow beyond this level, it is forced to disperse entirely. The shield state can also be used to rebound energy in a similar manner, again succeeding only if the energy of the sustained blow is equal or less than the amount within the shield. When it comes to how much energy is used for a shield, much can be concentrated to a single location; however, at the most, it can also be used to cover an entire room, with one's full life force being capable of shielding such a room from serious attack. Due to the fact that energy used in such a way cannot be recovered, this becomes a fatal exercise however. Lucky Charm A spell Loki cannot presently access, until he successfully dissolves all of his human remains. As a Slime, Loki will be able to make use of his ability to 'invade' a person in order to protect them. With their permission, Loki leaves them his nucleus while all of his fluid invade's their body-at this point, the spell activates. While within their body, Loki's fluid acts as a sap and salve. Injuries carry less intensity, as they are only able to bleed his own fluids, and in the process, he protects them from damages including even poisons. However, not only is Loki's slime limited in both how much can be 'corrupted' or 'lost', his nucleus is in clear sight. Loki is forced to leave his Nucleus in the hands of the host during this time, and if it is struck, not only will Loki die-but the host will as well. (The same, of course, goes for if Loki's slime runs out, or if he becomes too hungry)
